Commitment and approach
PickleDeck is pursuing the RGAA 4.1 level AA target through a multi-year plan and a public action plan. On the date of publication, the compliance status is partial; the certified external audit is planned and will feed into the first annual update of this document.
1. Commitment
Robin Cassard, operator of PickleDeck (trade sign “gooskeo”), undertakes to make the platform accessible in accordance with article 47 of law no. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005. This statement applies to the pickledeck.com website and to the PickleDeck mobile application (iOS, Android).
2. Standard applied
The target is RGAA 4.1 level AA (equivalent to WCAG 2.1 AA), in line with the requirements of public and institutional buyers.
3. Scope
- Public pages (presentation, pricing, status)
- Organiser area (creation, draw, scoring, exports)
- Player area (entries, payments, honours, profile)
- Tournament referee area (score entry, schedule)
- TV mode (screen display)
4. Assessment method
The initial assessment is based on automated checks built into the software pipeline (Lighthouse analysis, contrast checks, keyboard audit of critical journeys). A complete independent audit by a certified firm is planned and will serve as the reference for the final compliance statement.
5. Areas being improved
Three areas are covered by an internally managed remediation plan pending the external audit:
- Navigation and interaction: keyboard equivalents extended to all advanced interaction components and consistent focus indicators.
- Media and documents: more reliable text alternatives and gradual improvement of the markup of exported documents.
- Compatibility with assistive technologies: checking of reading order and ARIA roles on complex views (draws, multi-court schedule).
6. Content covered by an exemption
- TV mode: display intended for tournament screens, not for individual reading. An equivalent accessible view is available at the same URL in standard format.
- Mapping: the tournament map is accompanied by an equivalent text list on the same page.
7. Multi-year plan
2026: audit and foundations
External RGAA 4.1 audit, integration of automated accessibility checks into the software pipeline, remediation of priority areas.
2027: extension
Coverage extended to generated documents and the mobile application, progress audit.
2028: continuous monitoring
Three-yearly follow-up audit, ongoing team training, user feedback taken into account in product prioritisation.
